Terms of sale and use
AI Academy Launch · Draft v0.2, 15 October 2026 · For legal review before launch
1. About these terms
These terms are between you (the parent or carer who creates the family account) and Capytech UK Ltd (company number 17157950, 66 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NA) ("we"). Contact: contact@capytech.co.uk.
You must be 18 or over and a parent or carer of the children you add. You're responsible for your family's use of AI Academy Launch.
2. What you get
There are two plans. Each is one payment, and prices include VAT at 20%.
- Single, £5.99: one person on the voyage, either one child aged 12 to 16 on the teen journey or one parent on the parent journey.
- Family, £11.99: up to 8 people in one family: the teen journey for each child aged 12 to 16, the parent journey for each parent, the family map, family goals and the family ladder.
Both plans include the mini games, the robot hangar, side quests, AI Licence cards and certificates. You can move from the single plan to the family plan at any time by paying the difference (£6.00). There is no subscription and nothing else to buy.
We'll keep the service available for at least 3 years from your purchase. If we ever close it sooner, we'll give at least 3 months' notice and a fair partial refund.
3. Paying
Payment is taken by Revolut when you check out. Access starts as soon as payment is confirmed. A VAT receipt is available on request from contact@capytech.co.uk. Capytech UK Ltd VAT number: GB 519 4040 06.
4. Your right to cancel
This is digital content. At checkout you ask for access straight away and confirm that you lose your 14 day right to cancel once access starts. You still have all your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015: if the service is faulty or not as described, we'll fix it, or give you a refund.
If you change your mind within 14 days and haven't used it much, email us anyway. We'll usually refund as a goodwill gesture.
5. Family accounts
- Keep your password and your children's picture PINs safe, and the family code within your family.
- Use nicknames, not full names.
- Don't share access with other families. Each family needs its own account.
6. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service, try to break in, copy the content to sell or share publicly, or use it in a way that breaks the law.
7. What the service is, and isn't
AI Academy Launch teaches general awareness of AI and online safety. It isn't professional, legal, medical or safeguarding advice, and it doesn't replace parental supervision or a school's own teaching. In an emergency call 999. For support, see the 🛟 help in every lesson.
8. Our content
We (or our licensors) own the content, characters, artwork and software. You can use them within your family for learning. Certificates and Licence cards you download are yours to keep and print.
9. Our responsibility to you
We're responsible for loss you suffer that's a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or not using reasonable care. We don't exclude liability where the law doesn't allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. We aren't responsible for business losses.
10. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in "Our family". We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms; if we do without good reason, we'll refund you.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll email you first. Changes won't take away what you've paid for.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in England and Wales, or in Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there.
